Missing License Plate, Broken Headlight and Tinted Windows Lead to DUI Arrest

On Jan 16 around 1:25am, Greenwich Police observed a vehicle with a headlight out, no front plate on display and illegally tinted side windows and windshield.

A motor vehicle stop was conducted in the area of Mead Ave and Wellington Place in Byram.

During the investigation the accused, Joshua Reyes, 20, of Greenwich, was displaying signs of alcohol impairment. He was requested to submit to field sobriety tests which he was unable to perform to standard.

The accused was then placed under arrest and charged with:

Failure to Display Plates
DUI .02 BAC Less than 21 Years
Improper Number of Headlamps
Windshield Obstructing View

He was able to post the required 7% of his $300 bond.

He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 30, 2026 and his next date in court according to the CT Judicial Branch is March 4, 2026.
