Around 9:00pm on Sunday night a vehicle traveling north on Stanwich Road between Dingletown and Cognewaugh Road went off the road and struck a stone wall.
According to Lt. Kraig Gray, the crash which is still under investigation, resulted in the car flipping over and coming to a rest on its roof.
The driver, a Greenwich 23-year-old who has not been charged, attempted to hide from Police but was found a short distance away. He was taken to Stamford Hospital where he was treated and released. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
