On Sept 9 around 6pm Saks Security personnel advised Greenwich Police officers that they had observed a male subject conceal a Versace sweatshirt under his shirt and in his pants, and that they had followed him outside the store and detained him on Greenwich Avenue.
Police were advised that the sweatshirt was valued at $575.00.
The suspect was later identified as Manuel Perez-Sanchez, 37, from Philadelphia.
He was arrested and charged with Larceny 5. He was able to post his $600 bond and was released. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 23, 2022.
