On Dec 16 around 2:00am, Greenwich Police responded to Bruce Park Ave on a report of a car crash in which a vehicle struck two parked cars and caused “significant disabling damage.”
Investigation revealed that the driver, Lauro Patricio Juela-Cando of 212 Greenwich Ave in Greenwich, who initially left the scene, did not have a valid driver’s license.
Mr. Juela-Cando did not perform field sobriety tests to standard and was charged with DUI, Evading Responsibility/Property Damage, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane and Driving without a License.
His bond was set at $500 which he was able to post. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 16, 2018.
