On Friday Sept 20 Yu Zhang of Mead Ave in Greenwich responded to Greenwich Police station where he was arrested on an outstanding warrant for an incident on Aug 31, 2019.
Police were at a private residence when the incident took place and further information in the case is protected.
Police say Mr. Zhang assaulted a police officer, which is a felony, and he damaged property.
The warrant was for Assaulting a Public Safety Officer, Interfering with an Officer/Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Mischief 4.
His bond was set at $10,000, which he was unable to post. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Oct 4, 2019.
