On Dec 7 Greenwich Police officers arrested a Flushing, NY man by warrant for charges stemming from an incident back on Oct 24.
Police say that on that afternoon officers were detailed to the area of Arch St and Horseneck Lane on a report of a car running in the middle of traffic with the driver asleep.
Police say that after they determined that the driver was intoxicated and placed him under arrest, the driver, Ruben Avulov, 33, refused to be fingerprinted and became combative toward police.
Avulov was charged with Interfering with Officers/Resisting Arrest, Failure to Comply with Fingerprint Requirements, Improper Parking and Illegal Operation of Motor Vehicle Under Influence of Alcohol/Drug.
He was able to post his $15,000 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 8, 2021.
