At approximately 4:45am on Dec. 18, Greenwich Police observed a black Honda stopped at a green light on East Putnam Avenue at River Road.
Investigation revealed that the driver, Luis Leon-Soto, 24, of 325 Willet Ave in Port Chester, was asleep with the vehicle’s transmission in drive and his foot on the brake pedal.
Officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the interior of the Honda and Mr. Leon-Soto did not perform standard Field Sobriety tests to standard and was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI, Operating without a License and Failure to Obey a Traffic Signal.
Leon-Soto was able to post his $250 bond and was released with a court date schedule for Dec. 31, 2015 in Stamford Superior Court.
