High Bond for Port Chester Man Extradited by Greenwich Police

On April 27 Greenwich Police officers traveled to Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill, NY to take custody of and extradite Brayan Castano-Carmona, 24, of 65 Wesley Ave in Port Chester. Greenwich Police held a felony extraditable arrest warrant for Mr. Castano-Carmona.

He was charged with two counts of Burglary 3rd degree, two charges of Criminal Mischief 2nd degree, Larceny 2nd degree and Larceny 5th degree for an incident on South Stonehedge Drive back on Jan 16, 2013 when Mr. Castano-Carmona was 20.

An NCIS query also revealed an arrest warrant for Mr. Castano-Carmona for Failure to Appear 1st degree. Supplemental police narrative explained that he entered a private residence on LeGrande Ave and stealing multiple electronic items. Charges for that incident include Burglary 3, Larceny 3, and Interfering with an Investigation.

Mr. Castano-Carmona bond was set at $50,000, which he was unable to post. He has a court date on May 4, 2016 in Stamford Superior Court.
