Greenwich Woman Surrenders on Warrant for June DUI

On Sunday around 12:30pm, Margaret Massie arrived at Greenwich Police station to turn herself in on an active arrest warrant.

Back on June 20, Massie, 53, of 62 Sherwood Pl in Greenwich, was involved in a motor vehicle accident in a white Volvo.

According to Greenwich Police Lt Slusarz the accident happened when Massie’s Volvo stuck a parked car in the area of 418 Post Rd, which is the address of the Happy Coin in Cos Cob.

Slusarz said the car left the road and collided with a business sign in front of 410 Post Rd, which is the address of Party Paper and Things.

After the crash Massie was transported to Greenwich Hospital.

It was revealed Massie’s BAC was above the legal limit. An arrest warrant was completed on the charges of DUI and Failure to Maintain Lane.

Her bond was set at $5,000, which she was able to post. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 13, 2018.
