Greenwich Woman Stopped for Speeding on West Putnam Ave Faces Multiple Charges

Ana Maria Eder, 44, of 1403 King Street in Greenwich was arrested by Greenwich Police on July 4.

According to Greenwich Police Ms. Eder was observed traveling west on West Putnam Ave at a high rate of speed at about 10:00pm.

A motor vehicle stop was initiated and the operator was identified as Maria Eder. While speaking with Ms. Eder, officers noticed she had glassy bloodshot eyes and the odor of alcoholic type beverages.

Ms. Eder submitted to standardized field sobriety tests, which she did not perform to standard.

Further investigation revealed that Ms. Eder’s vehicle was not registered.

She was charged with Driving an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Traveling Unreasonably fast and DUI. Her bond was set at $260 and she was assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on July 19, 2017.
