On Aug 26 Greenwich Police investigated a motor vehicle accident in the area of Riverside Avenue around 8:00pm.
Investigation revealed that based on the damage to property, Ruth Dilworth, 43, of 30 Brookside Drive in Greenwich left the scene.
However, Police say Dilworth left her vehicle registration at the scene of the crash, which assisted officers in locating her vehicle.
Police say Dilworth had a valid Washington state driver’s license, though she told police she had been residing in Greenwich for about two years.
Dilworth was charged with Evading Responsibility, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane and Driving with Foreign License More than 30 Days.
Her bond was set at $100 and she was assigned a date of Sept 10, 2018 in Stamford Superior Court.
