Greenwich Woman Charged with DUI after Near Collision

On Sunday, Nov 20 at about 5:30pm, Greenwich Police observed a vehicle pull out of the rear parking lot of 130 East Putnam Ave and nearly strike another car. Despite it being dark, the car didn’t have its headlights on.

During a motor vehicle stop, police observed the driver, Robbin Ferguson, 52,  of 11 Roberta Lane in Greenwich, had bloodshot glassy eyes and the odor of alcoholic beverage.

Ms. Ferguson was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard and was charged with DUI, Failure to Grant Right of Way on a Private Road and Failure to Have Lights Illuminated.

Her bond was set at $250 and she was assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 5, 2016.
