On Aug 6 at about 4:00am, an adjourning jurisdiction reported a stolen vehicle had just occurred in their town.
About 25 minutes later, the vehicle was seen in Greenwich and was being pursued by that other jurisdiction.
The stolen vehicle was stopped on Byram Road by Greenwich Police Officers and the sole occupant (the driver), Gerardo Gamaliel Constanza, 32, of 59 Leonard St in Port Chester was subsequently placed under arrest for Driving without a License, Larceny 1, and being a Fugitive from Justice.
He is beind held on a $275,000 bond which he was unable to post his bond and is being held in the GPD cell block. He has a court date in Stamford on Aug 15.
