Greenwich Police Catch Up with Duo Who Never Returned Rental Car

Magaly St-Vil, 52, of 16420 Highland Ave in New York, NY and Franklyn Christopher Wilson, 47, of 118-01 227th Street in Cambria Heights, NY were both arrested by Greenwich Police on Saturday, Jan 21, 2017 and charged with Larceny.

According to police, St-Vil and Wilson were traveling east on East Putnam Ave in Riverside in a red Kia Optima when they were observed changing lanes without using a turn signal.

During the motor vehicle stop, police learned the Kia was a rental vehicle from Avis and had been due to be returned back on August 7, 2015.

“They signed the rental agreement together, were in the car together, and were arrested together,” said Lt. Kraig Gray of Greenwich Police of St-Vil and Wilson.

In addition to Larceny 1 charge, Mr. Wilson was charged with Improper Signal for Turn and Operating without a License.

Bond was set at $3,000 for Mr. Wilson and $3,000 for Ms. St-Vil, which neither of them were able to post. They share a court date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 30, 2017.
