On Sunday Greenwich Police arrested a Bridgeport man, Christopher Alexander Torres, now 23, on an outstanding warrant stemming from an incident back on June 1, 2021 from a Robbery and Motor Vehicle Theft that occurred in the area of East Putnam Ave and Church Street in the central Greenwich business district around 3:15am.
During the incident an elderly victim was forcefully removed from their vehicle prior to it being stolen.
Mr. Torres was charged with Larceny 1, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery 2 and Conspiracy to Commit Assault 3 on an Elderly Victim.
His bond was set at $100,000 which he was unable to post. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 2, 2024.
