On July 15 Greenwich Police arrested a Norwalk woman by warrant that originated from a crash back on May 16, 2026.
Police said Diana Caivinagua Gaona, 27, was involved in a motor vehicle collision in the area of Sound Beach Ave in Old Greenwich around 10:30pm, and that she presented with signs of intoxication.
Chemical samples were later obtained of the arrestee’s blood which showed an elevated blood alcohol content above the legal limit to operate a motor vehicle.
She was charged with DUI, Unsafe Movement of Stopped Vehicle, and Operating Motor Vehicle without License.
Ms Caivinagua-Gaona was able to post the required 7% of her $25,000 bond and was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on July 29, 2026.
