Greenwich Narcotics Detectives’ Undercover Drug Buy Results in Arrest

police cellMembers of the Greenwich Police Department’s Narcotics Section received information that a man identified as, Brian O’Connor, 47, of 154 Waterbury Ave in Stamford, was selling prescription narcotics and controlled substances within the town of Greenwich.

While acting in an undercover capacity, Greenwich Narcotics Detectives negotiated a drug transaction with O’Connor.

O’Connor arrived to the predetermined location and where investigators were able to establish surveillance by investigators.According to Greenwich Police the incident took place on March 11 at about 1:00pm on Havemeyer Place.

Investigators approached O’Connor and informed him of the investigation. Evidence located on the drivers seat of O’Connor’s vehicle included two blue circular pills inscribed with a “V” and “48 12” on the reverse side identified as Oxycodone 30 mg. Investigatiors also located 1 orange circular pill inscribed “MYLAN 345,” identified as Diazepam 5 mg.

O’Connor was placed under arrest. He was charged with two counts of Illegal manufacture, distribution, sale, prescription or administration, Possession of a Controlled Substance under 4 oz and Illegal Possession.

He was released on a Promise to Appear and assigned a court date of March 20, 2015 in Stamford Superior Court.
