Greenwich Man Faces Drugs Charges after Pill Container Had Cocaine, Heroin and Fentanyl

Greenwich Police arrested a local man this week after officers on patrol in Glenville spotted a man they believed had active arrest warrants.

The man was stopped in the street and identified as Anthony Miozzi. Dispatch confirmed two active warrants from the New Canaan Police Dept for Mr. Miozzi, for Failure to Appear 1 and Failure to Appear 2. For these charges the judge in Stamford set bond at $1,000 for each charge, for which Mr. Miozzi was unable to post the 10% minimum required.

During a search incident to arrest Miozzi had a pill container with illegal drugs in his possession. Later police confirmed the drugs to be Heroin, Cocaine and Fentanyl.

He was charged with Possession of Narcotics and Possession with Intent to Sell.

Miozzi’s was unable to post the minimum 10% required of his $2500 bond. He has a Stamford Superior Court date on August 2.
