Greenwich Man Charged with Criminal Trespass First Degree

A Greenwich man with a history of arrests by Greenwich Police was charged on March 9 with Criminal Trespass 1st degree after he was revealed to have violated probation by being on Housing Authority property at 249 Milbank Ave, which is the address associated with Agnes Morley heights.  Police say Marquise Anthony Burick, 23, of 27 Armstrong Court, is on the list of individuals banned from HATG property.

Burick was taken into custody at his grandmother’s residence in Greenwich.

Police say they had been advised by Stamford Adult Probation that there was a warrant for Burick for Violation of Probation.

Police arrested Burick around 7:15pm after their investigation revealed that he had violated his probation by trespassing.

His original charges stem back to Sept 26, 2017 when Burick was charged with Trespass and Disorderly Conduct after being on property from which he was banned from and had a loud tumultuous argument. Ultimately he was sentenced on Nov 21, 2017 to 2 months jail.

Also, according to the CT Judicial Branch website Burick was found guilty of Larceny 3, a class D Felony, for an offense on Jan 14, 2017 and sentenced to 3 years jail, execution suspended after 9 months, probation 3 years. He was charged with Violating of Probation on Feb 11, 2019.

His bond was set at $25,000, which he was unable to post. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 23, 2020.
