Greenwich Man Charged with Assault, Strangulation, Risk of Injury to Children

Greenwich Police arrest reports this week described a walk-in at headquarters on Saturday who reported a past incident.

Investigation revealed that the offender, Juan Santander, 34, of Greenwich had pulled the hair of victim #1 while continuing to pin the person down and strangle the person on two separate occasions.

The offender also acted in this manner in front of victim #2/witness #1 and victim #3 who are juveniles.

Mr. Santander was arrested  at headquarters and charged with Risk of Injury to Child (2 counts), Assault 3 (2 counts) and Strangulation/Suffocate second degree (2 counts).

He was unable to post his $50,000 bond and was assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 6, 2023.
