On Thursday, Nov 12 around 1:00am, Greenwich Police on patrol in Pemberwick observed Andre McKenzie, 20, of St Roch Ave in Greenwich. Police were aware that McKenzie had an active arrest warrant from their department stemming from an assault on East Putnam Ave in Riverside on the evening of Aug 26.
Investigation revealed that McKenzie put his hand around the victim’s neck, causing minor injury.
He was able to post his $2,500 court set bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 11.
