Greenwich Man Arrested for Multiple Missed Court Dates

On June 3 Greenwich police located a man with outstanding arrest warrants.

Jonathan Verdan, 22, of 30 Woodland Drive in Greenwich was arrested and charged with three counts of Failure to Appear.

Back on April 28, 2016 at 10:00pm Verdan turned himself in for Failure to Appear and was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle. He was charged with Use of or Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia. At the time, he was released after posting a $1,000 court set bond and assigned a court date in Stamford Superior court on May 4, 2016.

Back on October 1, 2015 police responded to a report of a disturbance on Woodland Drive. Upon arrival officers spoke to the victim who explained that after a loud verbal argument, Mr Verdan kciked the front door of the house before  leaving. Investigation revealed damage to the door. Officers then located Verdan a short distance away. At the time his bond was $1,000 which he was unable to post and held until his court date the next day. He was charged with Criminal Mischief 3 and Disorderly Conduct.

This week, Verdan’s bond was set at $1,000 for one charge of Failure to Appear, $2,500 a second Failure to Appear, and $10,000 for a third charge of Failure to Appear.

Verdan was unable to post bond at the time and was held at Greenwich Police station at the time police released a statement.

Verdan  was assigned a court date on June 19, 2017 in Stamford Superior Court.
