On Sunday afternoon Greenwich Police were dispatched to a residence on Flower Lane on a report of a person throwing a rock through a car window.
Investigation revealed that Andrew Herz, 57, of Flower Lane had gotten into a verbal argument with a Lyft driver after the driver allegedly refused to provide him a ride.
Herz allegedly picked up loose gravel from his driveway and threw it at the windshield of the Lyft driver’s 2013 Nissan Rogue SUV, shattering the safety glass.
Herz was charged with Breach of Peace 2 and Criminal Mischief 2.
He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 20, 2020.
