Greenwich Driver Faces Weapon Charges after Downtown MV Stop

Greenwich Police arrested a Greenwich man on Sept 30 around 5:30pm after being detained on a motor vehicle stop on motor vehicle charges.

The incident took place in central Greenwich in the area of Lincoln Ave and Mason Street.

Officers on-scene determined that the arrestee was in possession of a firearm in his waistband while possessing a revoked CT Pistol Permit.

He was charged with Carrying a Pistol without Permit, Illegal Possession Weapon in Motor Vehicle and Illegal Operation Motor Vehicle Under Suspension.

He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Oct 10, 2025.

He was able to post the required 7% cash of his $500 bond.
