GPD: Woman Faces Charges after Fight in Chickahominy

Greenwich Police were dispatched to a residence in Chickahominy on a report of a physical fight on Feb 14.

Investigation revealed that the offender, Leika Alexandra Torres, 25, of Bridgeport, threw a cell phone at the back of the victim’s head and then punched and scratched the victim, accidentally striking a juvenile in the process.

Torres then used a knife to destroy the victim’s bluetooth speaker.

She was taken into custody and charged with Risk of Injury to a Child, Criminal Mischief 3, Disorderly Conduct and Assault 3.

Her bond was set at $5,000, which she was able to post.

She was assigned a court date the following day, Feb 15, in Stamford Superior Court.
