GPD: Woman Brandished Knife, Fought with Victims, Including Elderly Person, While Child Was Present

On March 12 Greenwich Police officers transported a woman from Greenwich Hospital who had been placed under arrest for several charges including:

Risk of Injury to Child
Criminal Mischief 2
Disorderly Conduct
Assault 3
Assault 3 on Elderly Victim
Threatening 2 (two charges)

Investigation determined that Deanna Gomez, 36, of Stamford, had entered a victim’s residence while brandishing a knife which caused both victims to fear for their safety.

Investigation also revealed that Ms Gomez had engaged in a physical fight with both victims, causing both victims to suffer injury. One of them was over 60 years of age.

During the duration of the physical fight a juvenile under the age of 16 was present.

Prior to the physical fight, Ms Gomez, had also slashed two tires on a vehicle owned by one of the victims.

Gomez was unable to post her $10,000 bond and was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 14, 2023.
