GPD: Woman Accused of Trying to Start a Fire in a Residence

On Friday Greenwich Police arrested a Port Chester woman for an incident stemming back to an incident on South Water Street on February 19 at about 1:30am.

Police say that on that date they responded to a report of an intoxicated person attempting to initiate a fire in a residence.

On scene investigation determined that the suspect, Brianda Savinon-Roa, 31, intentionally swung her arms at the victim and threatened the person by using toilet paper and an aerosol spray container to create and ignite a fire in the residence.

Police obtained an arrest warrant for Ms Savinon-Roa and she turned her self in last week.

She was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Endangerment 2, and Criminal Mischief 2.

Her bond was set at $15,000 which she was able to post. She was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 25.
