On Tuesday morning Greenwich Police Lt Patrick Smyth confirmed that on Monday there was a Residential Burglary in the area of Halsey Drive in Old Greenwich (north of Rte 1, near the Stamford line).
The incident occurred between 12:00pmand 2:00pm and took place while residents were out running errands.
“Entry was gained through a window that was left open by the residents while out,” said Smyth who added that a detailed description of possibly taken item was not yet complete.
In separate incidents, Smyth also confirmed that two motor vehicles had been stolen from Marshall Street and Arnold Street on July 11, “with keys possibly being in both vehicles.”
Both vehicles were recovered in New Britain, Connecticut with the New Britain Police arresting two juvenile suspects.
