GPD Extradite Woman from NY for 72 Counts of Credit Card Fraud

On October 29 Greenwich Police say a Scarsdale woman was arrested by the Westchester County Police Dept for unrelated charges.

Bernadette Thompson, 50, of Chase Rd in Scarsdale, subsequently posted bond on the unrelated charges and was held as a fugitive from justice as a result of Greenwich’s extraditable arrest.

On Nov 6 an extradition hearing was held and Thompson agreed to return to Connecticut to answer for 72 counts of Credit Card Fraud, Identity Theft 2, Illegal Use of Credit Card and Larceny 3 for an incident in July 2018 on East Putnam Ave in Riverside.

On Nov 13 Greenwich Police went to Westchester County Correctional Facility in Valhalla to take custody of Ms Thompson and transport her to Greenwich Police headquarters for processing.

She was unable to post her court set bond of $25,000 and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 27, 2019.
