Two Greenwich homes were burgled over the weekend, and in a third incident, on Nov 18th around 3:30pm, thieves who were on a rooftop attempting to break into a 4th floor apartment on South Water Street.
According to Lt Slusarz, the thieves were scared off by a resident as police were on their way.
On Lauder Way on November 19, thieves forced their way inside by breaking a sliding glass door while residents were on vacation. Police say drawers had been gone through, but the residents were doing an inventory to see what was missing as of this report. Residential burglary Nov 19. 3 Lauder Way. Forcible. Broken side glass door. The burglary happened between Nov 15 and 19.
A second burglary was reported on Nov 18 on Gaston Farm Rd, where homeowners were away when the incident occurred. In this incident, thieves smashed a glass panel on a back door to gain entry. At the time of the report, the homeowners were conducting an inventory to determine what was stolen.
