Greenwich Police reopened Glenville Road Wednesday night after a crash that resulted in a downed utility pole in the vicinity of 72 required closing the roadway.
Police had barricaded both sides of the affected zone and traffic was diverted.
Flaggers were on scene and utility crews worked through the night to restore service.
Police said school bus companies were notified, and residents were urged to use alternate routes and expect delays.
