On April 3 Greenwich Police responded to Seminole County Jail in Florida to extradite a Florida resident wanted for an incident stemming back to November of 2021.
Police has an arrest warrant for Pedro Enrique Almonte Rivas, 31, who was wanted on charges stemming from a Business Email Compromise scam in Riverside.
Mr. Rivas was charged with Larceny 1, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 1, Computer Crime 1, Conspiracy to Commit Computer Crime 1, Illegal Electronic Mail Message Phishing, Conspiracy to Commit Illegal Electronic Mail Message Phishing, Criminal Impersonation and Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Impersonation.
He was unable to post his $250,000 bond and was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 17, 2023.
