Employee Charged with Taking Cash from Register at Fish Market

On the afternoon of Feb 17 Greenwich police were detailed to 158 East Putnam Ave in Cos Cob, Fjord Fish Market, on a report that an employee stole money the business earlier in the day.

Investigation determined that the suspect, Frank T Bruno, 22, of 555 Banyan Tree Ln in Delray Beach, FL, stole less than $50 from the cash register.

According to Lt Slusarz the manager became suspicious of Mr. Bruno and reviewed store surveillance video, to find him cancel out a transaction and pocket the cash. The store’s policy is to contact police.

Mr. Bruno later admitted that he had taken the money. He was issued a misdemeanor summons for Larceny 6 and assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 1, 2018.
