On Aug 31 around 3:13am Greenwich Police stopped a car on East Putnam Ave in the area of Indian Field Rd that had crossed the double yellow line and failed to signal a turn.
Upon contacting the driver, Richard Christopher Arruzza, 61, of Fairmont Ave in Stamford, officers detected signs of intoxication. The driver also admitted that he had been drinking.
Arruzza was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard.
He was charged with DUI, Improper TurnStop/No Signal and Failure to Drive in Proper lane.
His bond was set at $250 and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 16, 2019.
