On Christmas around 1:00am Greenwich Police spotted a gray Toyota Corolla sedan run the stop sign to turn south onto North Water Street from Byram Rd.
The vehicle continued at a high rate of speed and was spotted crossing the double yellow line on three occasions.
Police stopped the car on South Water Street. The driver, identified as Norma Cordero, 57, presented glassy red eyes and the odor of alcoholic beverages.
Cordero was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard.
She was arrested and charged with DUI, Failure to stop for a Stop Sign, Speeding and Failure to Maintain Lane.
She was able to post her $50 bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 8, 2020.
