On Sept 26 around 1:00am Greenwich police responded to the Milbank Avenue rotary for a possible car-versus-phone pole crash.
Police say a vehicle had struck a utility pole causing disabling damage to the vehicle.
Investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
Michael L Finkelstein, 51, of 25 Rockwood Lane in Greenwich was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard.he was charged with DUI and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane.
Mr. Finkelstein was brought to police headquarters where he refused to submit to any additional testing.
His bond was set at $250, which he was able to post. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Oct 10, 2018.
