Driver Who Complains about Car Being Towed Gets Arrested For Failure to Appear

On the afternoon of Nov 2, a man came to Greenwich Police headquarters to complain that his car had been towed.

While he was at the station, police determined there was a warrant for his arrest.

Police say Gavin A Wilson, 31, of 8th Avenue in New York, NY was stopped by Greenwich Police in the area of Field Point Rd for a motor vehicle violation on New Years Eve in 2017.

During the course of the investigation it was determined that Wilson was driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor motor vehicle charge.

Mr. Wilson failed to make it to court for one of his scheduled appearances and was wanted for Failure to Appear 2.

He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 16 and his bond was set at $475, which he was unable to post.
