On Nov 28 around 8:30pm, Greenwich Police responded to the area of Oneida Drive and Indian Harbor Drive on a report of an unconscioius man behind the wheel of a running vehicle.
Police said they found the arrestee’s vehicle to be stopped with the engine running in the travel lane of Oneida, and the car appeared to be occupied solely by Adeal Chaudhrrey, 38, of West Hempstead, NY, who appeared to be unconscious.
Police said that on scene investigation revealed that Mr. Chaudhrrey, through his own admission, related that he was “on drugs.”
Further investigation revealed Mr. Chaudhrrey was in possession of two wax folds of suspected heroin.
Chaudhrrey was later placed under arrest and charged with DUI, Possession of Narcotics, Operating under Suspension and Failure to Obey Stop Sign.
Police also determined that Chaudhrrey has an active and fully extraditable arrest warrant out of New York, and a DMV query revealed that he had a suspended license out of both NY and Connecticut.
Chaudhrrey was unable to post his $300 bond and was placed in GPD cell #2. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 9, 2024.
