Criminal Trespass Charge for Passenger of Idling Car in Armstrong Court

On Thursday night at about 10:45pm, officers made contact with the occupants of a vehicle idling in the parking lot at Armstrong Court, property of the Housing Authority of the Town of Greenwich (HATG). Officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car and one of the occupants was issued an infraction ticket for Possession of Marijuana less than 1/2 ounce.

The investigation revealed that one of the passengers in the back seat, Clinton A Birdsell, 27, of 1005  Hope Street in Stamford, had been banned from Housing Authority.

Birdsell was charged with Criminal Trespass 1st degree. His bond was set at $500 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 27, 2015 in Stamford Superior Court.
