Cos Cob Man Arrested after Altercation at Greenwich Hospital

On the afternoon of Aug 24 Greenwich Police responded to Greenwich Hospital on a report of an altercation.

Police said that during the altercation, the arrestee, Kristopher Thomas Chimblo, 31, of Harold Street in Cos Cob, was heard yelling derogatory comments, profane language and threatening statements.

Mr. Chimblo was charged with Threatening 2 and Disorderly Conduct. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 3, 2020.

Last week Chimblo charged with 5 counts of Illegal Possession of Narcotics, which police say he was receiving by mail.

Chimblo has a history of arrests.

According to the Judicial Branch website, Chimblo was convicted in March 2019 for Attempt to Commit Larceny 3rd degree and sentenced to 30 months in jail for an incident on Valley Rd in Cos Cob on Oct 4, 2017 in Greenwich. He was Committed to Department of Corrections.

In June 2017, Chimblo was arrested twice on the same day. He charged with Disorderly Conduct following a fight on Harold Street. That same day, he was also arrested and charged with Assault 3 for an incident at 31 River Road.

In April 2015 he violated his parole after he allegedly Threatened his Cos Cob family. He was charged with charged with Threatening 2 and Disorderly Conduct.
