Christmas Day Assault and Car-Jacking Took Place in CVS Parking Lot

On Tuesday, Greenwich Police shared news of a Christmas day car jacking that took place at the CVS on West Putnam Ave.

According to Greenwich Police, at approximately 4:15 pm they responded to the CVS parking lot located at 644 West Putnam Ave on a report of a strong-arm robbery in progress.

Upon arrival officers located the victim, a 34-year-old local resident.

The victim reported that he had just walked up to his car, a 2022 BMW M5, when he was assaulted by two subjects dressed in black and wearing face masks.

He turned over his car keys when a third subject approached and indicated he had a gun.

It is believed that the suspects arrived at the scene in a white BMW X5 with unknown New York registration plates.

The suspects fled the scene after the assault in both BMW’s.
