Charges for Local Man Who Entered Residence through a Window and Assaulted Victim

On July 6 around 4:30am Greenwich Police responded to central Greenwich on a report of a man who had allegedly gained access to a residence through a window and assaulted the reporting party.

During the course of their investigation police said they determined that the suspect, Denis Rodriguez, 28, of Greenwich was involved in a physical altercation with another person which led to visible injuries and prevented another person from placing a 911 call.

Rodriguez was charged with Criminal Mischief 3, Disorderly Conduct and Interfering with an Emergency Call.

He was unable to post the required 10% of his $5,000 bond and was held at police headquarters. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court the next day.
