A pleasant Sunday afternoon in Byram Park ended unfortunately for the owners of two vehicles that had their windows smashed in.
According to Lt Slusarz the incident took place in the eastern parking lot parking lot by the beach between 2:30pm and 3:15pm.
The damage was reported when people returned to their cars, a 2011 Subaru Forester and a 2018 Jeep Compass.
A handbag was taken from one of the vehicles. Police are investigating.
“The lesson is don’t leave valuables in plain sight in your vehicle,” Slusarz said.
