Two men were arrested last Friday on outstanding warrants for an incident on Mill Street in Byram back on November 19, 2024.
Each was charged with Illegal Sell/Manufacture of Cannabis >18 for illegal sale of THC products.
Lt Timothy Kelly at Greenwich Police confirmed the incident on Mill Street resulting in the arrests was a smoke shop.
Both Rameshbhai D Patel, 67 of Mineola, NY and Harshadbhai G Patel, 39, of 51 Byram Rd in Greenwich were released on a Promise to Appear in Stamford Superior Court on March 28, 2025.
Back in January 2024, Greenwich Police reported they had inspected four Greenwich Smoke shops in Greenwich, removed illicit products and closed one shop. Investigators from the Greenwich Police Dept, accompanied by drug control agents from the Connecticut Dept of Consumer Protection, conducted that unscheduled inspections at local smoke shops including two on Mill Street.
