Arrest Made on Round Hill Rd after Greenwich Police Respond to Report of Drunk Driver

Cezary Bartosiewicz, 52, of 491 Den Road in Stamford was arrested on Sept. 26 by Greenwich Police following an incident on Round Hill Rd at  Old Mill Road.

At about 3:00pm, Greenwich Police responded to a report of a driver observed with an alcoholic beverage traveling south on Round Hill Road.

One Greenwich Police officer observed the described vehicle traveling south on Round Hill Rd, and another officer traveling directly behind the vehicle, observed the car drive over the double yellow line.

During a motor vehicle stop  Mr. Bartosiewicz was observed to have bloodshot eyes and the odor associated wit the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Mr. Bartosiewicz failed to perform standard field sobriety tests to standard. He was charged with DUI and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane. He was released from police custody after posting a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior court on Oct 12, 2016.
