Are you ready to experience of being on patrol in a Police Car and in the Police Boat, or to learn why Police Officers write tickets, and how crimes are solved?

The Greenwich Police Department is now accepting applications for the 2016 Citizen’s Police Academy Spring Session.

The six-week program will commence on Monday, April 25, 2016 and will meet twice per week, Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Greenwich Police Department. Graduation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016.

The Citizen’s Police Academy provides a first-hand overview of both law enforcement and community-related functions of the Greenwich Police Department, and some of the topics of instruction include: Introduction to Policing, 911 Awareness, Use of Force, Scams and Fraud, Crime Scene/Forensics, and After the Arrest.

Space is limited so please return your application along with a copy of your driver’s license by April 20, 2016.
