After License Plate Holder Obscures Plate, Driver Faces Multiple Charges

Prudencio Flores-Cornejo, 57, of 88 Laddins Rock Rd in Old Greenwich was arrested on August 3 at about 2:00am and charged with DUI following an incident on East Putnam Ave in Riverside.

Just after 2:00am, Greenwich Police on routine patrol in the area of intersection of Sound Beach Ave and East Putnam Avenue.

The initiated a motor vehicle stop when they observed a car with an illegal bracket attachment partially obscuring a rear license plate.

Investigation revealed Mr. Flores-Cornejo was driving with a suspended license.

He was charged with Driving an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Illegal Attachment/Plate Illegible and Illegal Operating a Motor Vehicle Under Suspension(Alcohol-related).

He was released on a $250 bond and assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on August 17, 2017.
