On Jan 14th around 4:00am, a Greenwich Police officer on patrol spotted an interior light on inside a car on Marshall Street, and then a person bolted from the car.
Marshall Street is located on the east side of town, near Havemeyer Lane and the Stamford city line.
The owner told police the car had been locked but police noted the car was entered without force.
Police attempted to track the person who ran from the car, and even brought in a canine to assist.
Stamford Police were notified of the incident.
Greenwich Police remind all residents to look their cars and bring keys inside, every day, every time.
