3 Juveniles, 1 Adult Charged after Central Greenwich Attempted Car Break-Ins

Around 2:00am on Tuesday, multiple police responded to the area of Carleton Street in central Greenwich on a report of attempted car break-ins.

Police say the their investigation revealed that Dashanti Ray Patterson-Hamlin, 26, of Norwalk, was operating a car without the owner’s permission, and stolen property was discovered within the vehicle.

Dashanti had a juvenile in the car at the time.

He is accused of being connected to a motor vehicle that was stolen from the area at that time, and at least one vehicle that was unlawfully entered.

Dashanti was charged with Larceny 6, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny, Use of Motor Vehicle without Permission, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary 3 and Risk of injury to a Child.

Dashanti’s bond was set at $2,500 and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 5, 2021.

Police say that three juveniles were arrested in connection to this incident as well.
