There are a number of community organizations that have offered their counseling services to the community:
Greenwich Public Schools
Counseling and support services for students, staff, and broader Greenwich community. Greenwich High School and Eastern Middle School on Friday, August 8, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

CHILD GUIDANCE CENTER Call 211 for Emergency Mobile Crisis Hotline
The Child Guidance Center provides “immediate mental health support and crisis stabilization services 7 days a week for children and adolescents experiencing severe reactions to a traumatic event.” They will also provide “on-site assistance and counseling in response to emergencies impacting large groups in the community (i.e. suicide, terrorism, school violence, death of a youngster or teacher, natural disasters, etc.)” Child Guidance Center.
FAMILY CENTERS Call 203-655-4693
The Den for Grieving Kids provides non-therapeutic support groups for children, teens and families.
The Center for Hope “provides comprehensive services for adults and children living with an illness, grieving a loss or coping with a life-altering circumstance. All counseling, support and education services are facilitated by specially-trained professionals in an atmosphere of hope and renewal.”
Trauma Response Team provides on-site counseling and crisis debriefing services

Kids in Crisis outreach counselors are available 24/7 to provide counseling and support for children and families. The Kids in Crisis Hotline is monitored 24 hours a day.
