Community Counseling Resources Are Available

There are a number of community organizations that have offered their counseling services to the community:

The Child Guidance Center provides “immediate mental health support and crisis stabilization services 7 days a week for children and adolescents experiencing severe reactions to a traumatic event.” They will also provide “on-site assistance and counseling in response to emergencies impacting large groups in the community (i.e. suicide, terrorism, school violence, death of a youngster or teacher, natural disasters, etc.)” Child Guidance Center.

All counseling, support and education services are facilitated by specially-trained professionals in an atmosphere of hope and renewal.”

KIDS IN CRISIS Call Hotline at 203-622-6556
